Stay at Drysdale

Our walkers will experience two nights of heavenly sleep during your stay at Drysdale. Our Shearer’s Quarters was built for shearers to rest their weary heads in the 1960s. Now newly renovated, you can rest a little more comfortably with piping hot showers, luxurious hypoallergenic mattress toppers, fluffy pillows, and five spacious bedrooms accommodating up to eleven guests.

Our accommodation can also be booked on it’s own, all year round.

We welcome you from 3pm on your day of arrival and we allow you to depart at your leisure on the last day of your stay at Drysdale. This allows our walkers to enjoy a hot shower before driving home.

Dine at Drysdale

Let there be light, warmth, laughter and memories — if these weathered walls could speak, they would share endless stories from generations past. Today, we invite you to create new memories with home-cooked meals in our historic Cookhouse, now transformed into the heart of Drysdale - our kitchen, dining and gathering space.

We'll provide everything for your evening meals and breakfasts, while our outdoor fireplace beckons as the perfect spot to unwind with a drink as sunsets paint the Drysdale landscape.

Lunch provisions are ready for your adventures - simply bring your own water bottles and lunch containers to pack your perfect hiking feast.

Tastes & Flavours

  • Breakfast

    Start the days with fresh-baked breads and bagels, garnished with butter and house preserves, followed by granola with yogurt and seasonal fresh fruit. Or perhaps you prefer fresh eggs prepared just as you like them, alongside freshly brewed coffee and herbal teas. A generous country-style breakfast served at your own pace.

  • Lunch

    Assemble your perfect hiking lunch from our selection of fresh wraps and breads, tender roasted chicken, champagne ham, and crisp garden salads. Choose from seasonal fresh fruit and our homemade baked treats to ensure you have enough to keep you going during your walks at Drysdale. Personalise the lunch to suit your own taste.

  • Dinner

    Your dinners feature premium Drysdale Angus beef steaks and tender Drysdale roast lamb. Both dinners offer prepared seasonal fresh salads, served with warm artisan breads. Finish your evenings with an indulgent selection of sweet treats. Our dinners are hearty farm-to-table dining that showcase the finest Drysdale meats.

  • Drinks & Nibbles

    You are welcomed with a traditional ploughman's cheese platter featuring local meat and grazing selections, crusty breads, fine cheeses and accompaniments. The perfect way to unwind after your journey. Please feel free to bring your own wines or other alcohol beverages if you'd like to enjoy a tipple by the fire with your evening spread.
